After a rough weekend, I think Blake has turned the corner and is starting to feel much, much better! He seemed more affected by this round of chemo then usual. He even missed work on Monday! Now, if that happens, you know he isn't feeling well!
Blake will get chemo round #29 this coming Tuesday and will have the pump removed on Thursday - the same day as the appeal. I told him he should wear the pump to the appeal - with the tubes on top of his clothes! These insurance guys have got to understand that they're messing with peoples lives! The appeal looks very strong and promising and I think we have a really good chance of winning! I'm told this may set the precedent with Select Health/IHC. I will never be able to adequately thank LP for all her help! She's been an amazing friend to help with this huge task. I'd be lost without her!!
Last night we went as a family (except Dallas) and saw the Christmas lights downtown. Afterward, we went for coffee, hot chocolate & desert! This is the 2nd year we've done this and hope to continue this tradition for many more years!
I hope everyone is having a nice holiday season, so far! I'm looking forward to Christmas morning when we get to watch our grand daughters open their presents! I miss the magical feeling you get when the kids "really" believe in Santa! I can't wait to see their surprised little faces!! We should have the whole family here Christmas afternoon which is always a fun time!
Dear Santa., Can you please deliver good health this year? That's all I want. With love, Kathy
