Blake had his PET scan on Wednesday morning. They were not able to confirm the peritoneal mets (cancer spread to the stomach wall) because the PET scan is not “sensitive” enough…. But, they found a new spot of active cancer in the lower abdomen. A spot the CT scan didn’t pick up. The Dr. is out of town & won’t be back until Monday. Blakes appt. isn’t until 8/11 but we’re hoping to get in earlier.
