Dear Friends & Family,

In the world of cancer, “long time no hear” is a really, really GOOD thing. Well, we haven’t had any good news for a month now! The cancer devil is back. Not to be too technical, but it’s in his abdominal cavity and therefore, we have lost our chance for a “cure.” The goal now is to keep things “at bay” as long as possible. We have decided to postpone palliative chemo as long as possible as well. We’ll be living our lives 1 month at a time for now. Blake sees the Oncologist again next month – if he (Blake) still fells good and the CEA (colon cancer tumor marker) doesn’t sky rocket – they’ll let us go until October. In October, they’ll do another PET scan and the next steps will be evaluated.

We’re kinda laying low for now (thank you for understanding). Blake is a very proud man and does not want to be the center of attention; everything is just too raw right now. BUT, we’re going to get on with LIVIN’ pretty darn soon!!! Thank you for the prayers! We need as many prayer warriors as we can get! We need a Miracle!!! It’s possible you know!! How many times have you heard that someone has xx time to live & they live a LOT longer!!! As well all know, Blake is super, super, SUPER stubborn and he’s decided he’s just going to mess with the statistics! I say, GO BLAKE GO!!!
