Blake had his head shaved today. We went out trying to find a place & ended up at Walmart. Blake sat down in the chair & when the girl asked him how he wanted it cut, he reached up & pulled out a huge glob of hair! She was stunned. Didn't know what to say! Blake smiled & explained to her that he was on chemo & needed to have his head shaved to spare the mess. She was sweet; she didn't charge us.
It's crazy. He's only had 2 chemo treatments on this new regimen (Folfiri) and his hair was coming out in globs.
He seems to be feeling better this round. Not sure…. last time, Sunday-Wednesday was pretty bad so I don’t want to speak too soon!
