I heard from the patient advocate yesterday. Looks like the request is going have to go for Doctor review. This procedure is used much more frequently back east. I'm sure hoping some of the Docs on the review board have some of their training back east?? Or, San Diego?
It's hard for me to accept that an insurance company gets to decide what treatments you get to receive. One step away from the patient & it becomes a piece of paper; just another case to review and make a decision. Not a sweet, kind, sincere man; a husband, dad, papa & friend. Since this is the 1st time we've had to deal with this, I guess we're lucky. Anyone know anybody on the Select Health Doc review board?
Blake hasn't decided if HIPEC is right for him - or not, it would just be nice if HE could make the decision. Hopefully, we'll know by the end of the month.
Meanwhile, Blake seems to be doing relatively well. The "bloating" feeling seems to be bothering him a lot today.

I know people that know people. And they can be very mean! If you get my drift? MAFIA?? We have been known to change people's mind. ha..ha.. They will do the right thing.
